How Long Will It Take To Recover From Hematoma?
I had a breast biopsy almost 2 weeks ago and no cancer was found. However, they told me I have a hematoma because a blood vessel was hit. They said that I would have hard spots on my breast which I do. I am bruised and look like a piece of meat. How long should I expect for the hematoma to last? Is there anything I can do to speed up the process? The hematoma doesn t hurt but I am still somewhat sore from the process. Thank you

The hematoma hard spots might take many weeks or even months to completely go away. The bruising should clear up within the next couple of weeks. Warm compresses to the injured area might speed the process a little.
