Hello,

Pancreatitis along with duodenitis is a bad combination and duodenitis can be secondary to pancreatitis, stress, some preexisting conditions like alcohol, smoking and so on. It is necessary for a good control over the instigating or enhancing factors. And a proper medical management of both conditions is a must.

Restricted, soft and bland diet, plenty of oral fluids, maintenance of hydration, and electrolyte balance all help for better outcome. Repeated ultrasonography, or MRCP helps to know the progress and gives idea about further manage.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant
