Stage 4 esophageal cancer with liver and lung metastasis is incurable. Treatment goal is palliative (symptomatic relief) to improve quality of life, progression free survival and overall survival.

Treatment options include:
1. Palliative chemotherapy
2. Palliative radiation therapy (if required)
3. Endoscopic stenting to relieve esophageal obstruction (if necessary)
4. PEG (percutaneous endoscopically gastrostomy) or image guided percutaneous gastrostomy for enteral feeding if need arises.

Please discuss it with your treating doctor.
