>I am 31yrs old, height 5.7 & weigsght 75kgs

I had a fall on my tail bone while skating 3weeks back, I was able to stand/walk and do the normal things, however whenever I sit on a sofa/two wheeler (go for a drive), the tail bone was hurting me, consulted an orthopaedician and took an X ray, where in the doctor told me their is no evident fracture, you need to use the cushion the pain will subside and it will disappear in 2-3weeks. its already been 3weeks now, I feel their is nearly 60-70% pain reduction as I do not sit for long hours and usually work from home lying on the bed. would like to know from you all -

1. usually how much time it would take for tail bone pain to subside completely?

2.what are the next steps I need to take to gradually sit for longer hours and ride a two wheeler comfortably & go to office?.

3. I checked on internet that using icepacks at the tail bone area will subside the pain, is it true? I tried few times and felt comfortable, but its better you experts suggest me here.
