How Long Does Measles Take To Cure In Infants?

My 7 months daughter has been diagnosed measles.First time red rashes were seen on 3rd may. So many days will it take her to cure totally.Should she be allowed to sleep in air conditioner at the temperature of 27-28 degrees.as she is in habit of sleeping in AC.

There are certain misconception about measles in India , I want to explain you that this is a communicable disease and caused by virus . Usually the children are most sufferers but adult also get infection.
Rashes appear all over body in cluster ( crops form) after 3-4 days of infection and these rashes disappear and become black in color within next 7-10 days ( 14 days course ) . In measles there develops cough ( as I have noted in so many children and only chance of Upper respiratory infection is there ) so I usually prescribe a cough syrup in patients ( cough syrup contains salbutamol ) .
Only paracetamol is sufficient , if sever URI then antibiotics .
As far as about sleep in A C ( 27-28 ) she can sleep without any difficulty .
