How Can Weight Gain Caused By Thyroid Problems Be Addressed?

Hi, I was diagnised with hyperthyroid but of late ave been gaining weight. I have started one hour brisk walking and rope skipping afterwards. This is my second week. Am I on the right track? I also want to reduce belly fat. I am 32 Years. Weight 69 kg. Height 5'4 inches. Ave had hyperthyroid for one and half years

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have hyperthyroidism. In hyperthyroidism there is weight loss. Weight gain is seen in hypothyroidism.

If you are taking medicine for hyperthyroidism then it can leads to drug induced hypothyroidism.

You should check your T3, T4 and TSH level and then take treatment accordingly.
