my 5 year old daughter have had a low grade temperature (99.5-100.3) fatigue, coughing and loss of appetite I am also feeling the same way so I am thinking it is something contagious she was tested for strep and it came back negative the doctor also said her ears looked fine and her lungs sounded fine and she did not look like she had the flu but all she does is sleep she has no vomiting or diarrhea

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Low grade temperature, fatigue, coughing and loss of appetite can occur in infections.
The tests for bacterial infection are negative.
Viral infection can be suspected.
Your daughter and you need to take rest and antipyretic (drugs that reduce fever).
You should maintain nutrition and hydration by taking light nutritious food and plenty of fluids.
If the symptoms do not disappear after a couple of days, investigations for other causes need to be done.

Thanks and take care
