How I Can Get Rid Of All Of These Problems ?

I have always had very large tonsils, and when I get strep, tonsilitis, and throat aches, my tonsils swell up even larger then they already are. This makes it very hard for me to swallow, eat, drink, and even breathe. I have had these problems my whole life, but the last year I have constantly had them really badly. I have had a specific problem for about 2 weeks, and Im thinking it's tonsilitis, but It wont go away and I want to know how I can get rid of all of these problems? Should I get my tonsils taken out?

Usually tonsils if it is causing too much of issues in a year, then it is advisable to take it out if you are over 14 years of age. Also in most of the cases, the criteria is more than 5 episodes per year. My sister was told about this and later she got it operated and now she is really fine and off those critical episodes.
