Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi,

Slight elevation of blood pressure in the morning is a natural phenomenon. Above our kidney lies adrenal gland. Adrenal gland secrete hormones called cortisol adrenaline and other catecholamines. These hormones are responsible for maintaining blood pressure to normal, as the level of cortisol is higher in morning, so blood pressure is higher in morning.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rishu Saxena
