I have been diagnosed with diabetes 5 months earlier when my BG was 200 post prandial and around 160 fasting. I am not taking medicines as one of the consulting docs had noticed difference within a week of diet planning and exercise. I have stopped sugars and high carbs but do consume rice or wheat as staple food, started with beans and pulses, fish oil (3000mg a day) or 100g of salmon, nuts (walnuts, almonds and pistachios), loads of salads, occasionally I feast (burgers or fries). My HBA1C has come down 1% in 3 months from 8.9% to 7.9% (63 mmol/L), also my triglycerides are high (reducing gradually with walks). I quit smoking almost a year ago (after 17 years of smoking), and was never diagnosed with diabetes, its only after I quit, I starting getting withdrawal symptoms such as hunger, thirst etc... I want to know without medication is it possible to reverse (as most of the research says), also want to know if I can take revital capsules (which I had started taking after I quit smoking but stopped after I came to know about my diabetes). Hope I didn t ask too much and get a good response. Thanks in advance!
