Have sore and itchy breasts especially at night. Breast feels heavy. What is going on?
I have sore and itchy breasts. Symptons occur especially at night and my left breast tends to be the more itchy one. it used to Occur just before my periods, but know it is happening more frequently. I am 47 and I am not pregnant. My breasts feel heavy and reminds me of how they felt when I has a baby and was breastfeeding .

Breast changes are common in your age due to hormonal changes from menopause. But itching is may not related to this, could be from dryness or excess moisture causing fungal infection. Treatment differs in both condition. Examination by qualified doctor helps to conclude in a better way.
