my period lasts for 5 days I had it the 4th of this month and after I have had brown discharge i'm worried because I had HPV I get very scared when this things happen to me I also have had lots of infections that I have had to go to my doctor and some times the meds don't work so I get very worried about it please help thank you
Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.
The bleeding / brownish discharge after your period should have ended might simply be relted to old blood in the uterus that is taking longer to find its way out. This is not unusual. The other problem that you are describing is related to recurrent vaginal infections - likely yeast or BV. This can be very frustrating and sometimes the birth control that you might be on is part of the problem. The bleeding and recurrent vaginal infections likely have nothing to do with the history of HPV. You need an OB/GYN who can explain this all to you in terms you can understand.
I hope that this helps and good luck!
