Have Gained Weight And Breath Growth. Have Been Taking Birth Control Pill For A Long Time. Will This Side Effect Continue?

Hi there! I've been taking birth control pills since I was about 16 years old. I am now 22 and have tried a few different brands. A month ago I switched from Gianvi to Aviane, and have experienced a significant amount of breast growth/slight weight gain. I know these are all side effects of the pill but am wondering if this is a side effect that will continue/not change, or should I wait another month or two to see if the side effects change?

swollen and tender breasts is a well documented side effect of birth control pills. This is usually caused by fluid retention. This usually gets resolved with a few cycles. However, if it should continue and be of concern to you, you may consider trying another method of contraception. I will advice you carry on and only change if it should continue for another two months or earlier if symptoms worsening.

Congrats for taking full control of tour sexual life by adopting a contraceptive method. I wish to add that they don't protect against STDs, so please always consider using a condom every time you have intercourse.
