Have Constant Urination. Sensitive Clitoris. Trying For Baby. Suggestions?

Hello, me and my boyfriend have been trying to have a baby , for the moment we don't know if I'm pregnant but for the past week or so I've been constantly urinating and when I go it's just a little bit and my clitoris is extra sensitive . When I'm even walking it has a tingling feeling like I'm always wanting to use the bathroom . I want to know what's the matter ?

Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

From your presentation it appears as though you could be suffering from an infection, most probably a urinary tract infection (UTI). Do you have any other symptoms like a discharge, etc?

Symptoms of UTI can be:
-Burning sensation while urinating
-Frequent urination
-Increased urge to urinate, but less amount of urine passed
-Chills
-Fever
-Lower abdominal and/or flank region pain
-Itching around the genitals
-Blood in urine or immediately after (not always seen)

As you are sexually active, I would also like to know if you and your partner have been screened for all sexually transmitted infections, if not, it is best to do so before you conceive, for safety of the baby and each other.

To confirm a UTI, you will have to get your urine analysed, and once this is done, a UTI can be confirmed or ruled out. If it is indeed present, the doctor will prescrive a course of antibiotics, pain management medication (if pain is present) and a urine alkalizer (if your urine is acidic). Do not worry, once the treatment is initiated, you should be fine in 5-7 days. In the meantime, please refrain from sexual intercourse and consume plenty of water.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
