Have Circular Bruise On Back Of Leg. Not Swollen, Pain. No Feeling. On Aspirin. No Appetite. Suggestions?

Have a large circular bruise on back of lower right leg, and another smaller one about 3 inches beneath. Large one gross looking, and resembles a target; white in middle, about one inch in diameter, then red and purple outside. The entire bruise is size of a baseball. Not really swollen, no pain, no itching, no feeling at all. Second bruise is smaller and just purple, spotty. Again, no feeling. I actually feel great, my wife noticed them while I was dressing. Yesterday I took 9 aspirin due to an all day long headache. I took five generic brand, then about 8 hours later, took 4 stronger mg Bayer from gas station. Been drinking a lot of water as of late, not eating well (eat about one meal a day or more, which I sometimes do, go through phases of no appetite), and averaging about 5 hours of sleep per night the past three weeks. By the way, I noticed my facial acne has gone away the last few days, out of nowhere.

Hi,

The bruising could be because you had an accident and trauma caused such skin bruising. You did not notice it before because the trauma was not so big, but could lead to skin bruise.

Taking aspirin is another factor for the bruises to spring even after light hit against hard or soft objects. So, be careful with aspirin intake.

Do not worry, the bruise will go away on its own, unless you notice swelling, pain, or other local problems. Once you notice them, go to ER immediately for further evaluation.

Hope it helped!
