Have Chronic Post Nasal Drip Issues, Headache, Fever, Acute Sinusitis.

Hello I have chronic post nasal drip issues but on Wednesday (10/23), I woke up with a headache that got worse during the day and developed a fever that reached 101 degrees. I went to an urgent care the next day (Thursday), and was given antibiotics ( Amoxicillin ) for what they diagnosed as acute sinusitis . Since then, my fever and headache have both left, but I currently have some neck pain when i turn my neck or point my head down (nothing severe, but just enough that I notice it), and I wonder if this is suspicious for meningitis? It does respond to ibuprofen and started on Thursday evening (after I saw my doctor at urgent care), though today (Saturday) it is not as bad as it was yesterday (friday), when it was at its worst. What is your advice?

Hi,
Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.
The neck pain is due to muscles spasms which are seen with infections around the neck and head.
Continue the medication as per the prescription.
As the pain is decreasing in intensity nothing to worry.
Consult the doctor if pain or fever is persisting.
Hope I have answered your query, if you have any clarification please let me know.
Regards.
