Have Bump Under Chin Between Lower Lip, Painful. What It Could Be?

I have a bump under my chin between my lower lip and I just go it yesterday. It feels like a pimple but much more painful in a way and always fells like a bruise . I m wondering what it could be, I know it s not a pimple because I can t pop or even attemp to pop it because its very painful. What is this mysterious bump on my chin?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Bump under lower lip, very painful usually suggests sebacious cyst or infected gland. Give warm compression, dont handle or dont pop it, wash it with soap(to clear oil), you can take anti inflamatory drug like paracetamol 650 mg for pain. If infected and have signs of inflammation in that region then take antibiotic.Consult your doctor for examination and management.

sebaceous cyst as in oily skin the sebum collects under skin causing the cyst
can use doxycycline 100 mg bd for 5 days to counter infection
mild analgesic for pain
antiallergic sos for itch
aply clinamycin gel tds and calamine lotion od
continue 3 wk
to prevent recurence keap skin dry
and nooily greesy and fatty food
lot of warm water and use nontoxic non oily soaps ointments and creams
