Hello and welcome to HCM,

Some points to ponder:
- Middle ear infection will generally not cause vertigo but hearing loss
- Vertigo if caused due to an ear problem is usually due to an inner ear problem
-bad taste in the mouth may be caused by a multitutde of problem and may or may not be related to your vertigo
-spondilytis can also cause vertigo
-anti vertigo drug like the one you mentioned will only temporary alleviate your symptom but not cure the underlying cause

In conclusion, if the symptoms persist and you are feeling really sick then consult an ENT/ Neurologist for proper treatment
