Have Achy, Heavy And Sore Legs. Cure?

Hi, I have really achy legs, been increasing over the last few months. I thought I used to have Restless leg syndrome, but the pain has changed. My legs (mainly my left) is always feeling heavy and sore. Achy all over. Lately in the lower leg and sometimes in the upper part. The pain used to be only at night but the past 3 weeks I get increasing achiness in the day. I hope you can help.
Thanks, Maree

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M.Forum.
At the beginning pain was in both legs , now localized to only left i.e. something is wrong in left leg ( nerve supply or arterial supply or dick problems in hip joint or sciatic nerve pain)
Artery supply blood to both legs but in this part ( left) there may be some blockage in artery so please first of all get in an angiography of this part as we do in heart disease.
If nothing is found abnormal than think about veinous blockage ( if, swelling is there)
Both tests are normal than think about involvement ( compression) of sciatic nerve.
Get in an examination of blood for diabetes to rule our diabetic neuropathy.
Last step is myalgia of calf muscles , so far consult a physician and his physical examination will reveal many things.
Good luck .

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
Rule out varicose vein and deep vein thrombosis which will lead to impairing vascular circulation.
Consult vascular surgeon and get examined.
Take calcium and vitamin A, D supplements.
Take B1, B6, B12 capsules.
Take high protein diet, fresh green veggies and fresh fruits.
Avoid sedentary life.
Do regular light exercise like walking, swimming.
Ok and bye.
