Have UTI. Told To Have Cyst On Ovary And One Ruptured. Period Was Light With Clots. Pregnant?
I was told by an ER doctor that I have a UTI.. The test results for the UTI urinal test was negative but the cervix swap was positive for a UTI.. I was also told that I had a simple cyst on my left ovary and it looked like one had ruptured on my right ovary because they had saw loose fluid by my ovary during an ultrasound.. My period ended up being 4 days late and when it did come it was extremely light and started brown and red.. Didn't fill a tampon but was clotty with small blood clots.. The 2nd day it was over didn't even need a tampon and didn't fill a panty liner .. Could I be pregnant or did the UTI mess up my cycle?
The urinary opening (urethra) and vaginal opening are different in women. If you had UTI and were treated for it then it is unlikely to have messed up with your periods. Coming to your ultrasound findings, it is of concern what exactly was meant by possible rupture of ovarian cyst and/ or fluid in the pelvis. Less than 5 cc fluid can be normal but if it was more then you need to consult your gynecologist. Any pain in the pelvis should be discussed with your doctor. This can be related to your less flow during periods.
Hope this helps
