Had Sex During Ovulation, Spotting Followed, Periods Late. Experiencing Nausea, Swollen Breast, Dizziness, Diarrhea, Back Pain. Pregnancy Symptoms?
during ovulation my husband and i had sex, 4-5 days later i had spotting, now my period is 2 days late. we took 2 hpt's one had a slight line (positive) the other negative. over the past week I am experiencing extreme nausea out of nowhere, swollen breast very sensitive. dizziness, headache I cannot stomach beverages I usually drink. the past 2 days bad diarrhea. fatiuge worsening back pain. I had back surgery last year. I am also supper emotional. I have never been pregnant. I have regular periods.

From what you have described , the chances of a pregnancy are high.
Please repeat the upt a week from the day of expected periods so that we can have a confirmatory result although you can do a blood test straightaway to diagnose pregnancy. Scan at this stage may not be helpful.
The symptoms you have described could be due to pregnancy but are not conclusive.
In any case, start on folic acid 5 mg once daily ( to prevent neural tube defcts in the baby) and you can take tablet doxinate 10mg maximum thrice a day to help you overcome nausea.
You can take paracetamol tablets for back pain, but nothing stronger.
Once we have the fresh upt results, we will know which direction we are heading.
