Get Hot Flashes In Right Leg, Occasionally On Ankles, Have Consistent Cough Since Weeks Causing Breathing Difficulty. Connected?

Hi, I am a 45 year old female. I have been getting hot flashes in my right leg for a couple of weeks. Mostly to the outside of my knee or sometimes ankle. I had a bad cold before Christmas starting with a cough which doesn t seem to want to go and I feel quite out of breath sometimes. Are these connected and should I seek my GP s advice

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I conclude that you are healthy individual with just the mentioned symptoms present.
Flu and hot flashes around knee and ankle might not be connected. But it is also possible in the case when you are overly tired due to flu and had some impact on these areas. Check yourself up for arthritis if there is also burning sensation, swelling, grinding pain, hue color change etc. If flu is continuing even after antibiotics, you must visit your GP. You need follow up treatment.
Get well soon.
