Hi, I m Kerry age 37, I have rapidly gained a lot of weight, gone up 3 sizes in a year, from a 12 to a 16 but can’t understand why. My belly swells and goes hard and looks like I’m 7 months pregnant. I skip periods all the time. I skipped August, September and November then had some clotting and 2 days of heavy bleeding at the end of November, then I had a normal one early December then haven’t had one since. I have been doing the Carol Vorterman Detox for 3 weeks very strictly and haven’t lost a pound. I get pain in my abdomen on and off and I’m constantly getting infections at the moment in my c-section scar (which my last one was 8 years ago) and infections in my belly button scar from where I had a camera put in 18 years ago. I have had thrush and urine infections quite a few times in the past several months also, which I have a urine infection right now. I am struggling with depression for the first time in my life also. I am low on Iron and the Iron pills are not bringinging it up which is cursing a little concerned from the doctor. I am back and forth to the doctors and I have been put on anti depressants and got anti biotic cream for the scars and put on anti biotic every time I get a urine infection. What could be causing all this? There must be something going on inside my body. I was told after blood tests that I’m not in early menopause so what’s going on.
