Frequent Painful Boils On Breast Around Bra, Between Thighs. How To Get Rid Of Them?

I am a 30 year old female. I get bumps or boils around the area of my bra frequently. I also get them between my thighs.. I am assuming these are caused by the irritation of my bra and my pants where they rub together daily. Is there a way to get rid of them? They are very painful, and just gross to look at. Thank you!

Hi dear ,
its true that friction in fold areas can lead to itchy rash.

There areas are prone to fungal infections.

You need to take treatment for fungal infection.

Try using oint clotrimazole twice daily for 15 days.
For itch you can take tab cetrizine once daily.

Thank you

Dermatologist Dr. Kalpana Pathak's  Response
Hi,
Boils are bacterial infection of skin that can occur with friction, moisture, tight fitting clothes as these can damage the hair follicle facilitating entry of pathogenic bacteria thriving on skin.
So to treat these
Wear loose clothes to prevent friction
Keep the prone areas dry
Maintain proper hygiene, shave hairy areas
Do hot water compresses twice in a day and apply antibiotic cream to treat existing boils or bumps
You may also consider taking oral antibiotics if there are too many lesions.

Hope that answers your query.
