General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Your husband seems to be having after effects of taking ALEVE,it has resulted in gastritis, and diarrhoea along with electrolyte imbalance.
Ask him to take some proton pump inhibitor like PANTOPROZOLE 40 mg once a day, light food and plenty of water, juices and coconut water to take care of his electrolyte imbalance. There doesn't seem to be any need o go to ER.Above mentioned measures should make you all right in couple of days.
Thanks
