stomach flu symptoms.

I think I have the symptoms of the stomach flu, but I need to be sure and my doctor s office is closed today. I ve been feeling nausea since last night. Last night was worse, I was shaky and I ve been in bed all day. I have a mild headache. Everytime I even think about eating food, I get sick to my stomach. I threw up a bit last night and have diarrhea. I need to know if I can go to work or if I need to stay home to prevent anyone else from getting sick.

Its true, it could be a viral diarrhoea/ an acute gastroenteritis/ a food poisoning. But dont worry and better have some rest at home and give your stomach some rest as well. Keep taking sips of liquids, preferably coconut water. If you have too much nausea take some antiemetic(over the counter) and also other symptomatic treatments, also do take some probiotics. But if it doesnt subside and having persistent fever, better start onto some antibiotics.
