Fever, Sore Throat, Vomiting, Headache, Chills, Body Aches, Hard Bumps Underneath Chin, Tired. Help

Hello, I recently went to the doctor for a fever, sore throat, vomiting, headache, chills, and body aches. They told me it was the flu and possible a viral infection. Its been over a month since then and the symptoms are still occuring i now have two hard bumps underneath my chin near the right side of my jawline, but closer to my neck and they are painful to touch. My sore throat has become worse and so has my cough. I am extremely tired all the time and have to sleep about 10-12 hours to have a tiny bit of energy to get up and do my daily routine. I have constant headaches and have lost my appetite. can you help please

hello there!
you appear to have a throat infection which involves now your lymph nodes. their tenerness(pain) confirms it. the fever and flu history with chills body aches. vomiting headaches all are explained. well a month is too long.
have you tried any antibiotic for it?
start amoxicilline with some aspirin gargles. care for the oraal hygiene.
mean while its better to take a swab for culture and sensitivity to confirm the pathogen responsible for this long treatment,.
consult a nearby ENT surgeon for better assessment and physical examination, some lab work up will be needed to see the infection status too.
but no worries ,, it will be fine. tender bumps( lymph nodes) are always infections easily resolved with medications.
all you need is an ent surgeon with opinion from infection disease specialist.
do the culture, start the anti biotics, some aspirin gargles and oral hygiene and you will be fine sooner than possible

cheers
