Does Taking Hydrocodone And Penicillin Affect The Urine Drug Test Results?

Hello, I just had a root canal today and was given Hydrocodon for the pain and Penicillin for possible infection. I start my new job on Wednesday (in two days) and have a drug test scheduled that afternoon (almost 42 hours from right now). Will this show up on my urine drug test? Thank you

Hydrocodone is a narcotic and will likely show up on the drug screen. With a better test, it can be distinguished from heroin. It takes a very good test like checking for metho-hydrocodone (a breakdown product specific for hydrocodone and not found after heroin).
