Does Multiple Pulmonary Embolism Cause Diarrhoea And Burping?

My brother was just diagnosed with multiple pulminary embolisms. The Dr.'s are trying to regulate his blood with blood thinners. He has been suffering from diarrhea and is constantly burping. The burping is causing him pain. What is causing the diarrhea (he is not eating) and the burping?

I think the blood thinner medicine warf can cause gastritis and burping sensation.and for diarrhoea I think it is due to some infection. Tell him to drink plenty of gluids with ORS powder.
