Can Hyperinflation Of The Lungs Be Caused By Mold In The House?

Can mold cause hyperinflation of the lungs? Or a past pulmonary embolism? I was just told my chest xrays show the hyperinflation in my lungs. I had a massive saddleblock pulmonary embolism in 2004, but recently I was in a house with mold. I am not sure how concerned to be, I am not having shortness of breath...

Hello,

Recent history of exposure to house mold suggest possible hyperinflation issue via that more likely.

Still a physical examination with underlying breath sounds is mandatory for further care and guidelines. Till that time, deep breathing exercises and YOGA will help a great in this case for best recovery.
