Do Antibiotics Cause False Positive Results Of Pap Smear?
I was given pap smear results that I have trich. And the PA said the only way to get it was that my husband was unfaithful. I asked if having surgery and being hospitalized and put on strong antibotics cause a false positive. She said no. Is this true?

Hello Trichomoniasis is a parasitic infestation of urogenital tract. It is a sexually transmitted disease. You must have caught the infection from your spouse.
