I am 33 weeks pregnant. My sugar level was normal when doctor did the sugar test on 28th week. but this time(yesterday) doctor doubt about diabetics when she did my urine test and asked me to undergo Sugar test once again. If i am diabetic will it cause any problem to my baby? Also is that normal to be diabetic in the 9th month?

Diagnosis of gestational diabetes is important to identify both infant at risk of adverse outcomes and mother at risk of subsequent development of diabetes
gestational diabetes*(diabetes during pregnancy)
may lead to large sized baby, increased need for cesarean section, increased maternal lacerations etc

glucose metabolism deteriorates to some degree in all pregnant women, although only a minority of women develop gestational diabetes

so in your case get your test done without any delay
if proved diabetic take medication and diet under the guidance of your doctor
dont panic, stress increases your blood glucose levels
after delivery your levels may go down ,but frequent monitoring is essential
hope i answered your query
