Cyst In Right Ovary, Breathlessness. Advised To Take Oral Contraceptive Pills. Advise?

HI,
I have a cyst (3cm) in my right overy...my doctor adviced me for taking OCPs for five continuous days....is this safe for me as i am also planning for pregnancy..pease it????? in addition to this...from last 4 days i am feeling breathlessness...please take this into consideration..........plesae help me out in fighting with this syndrome????

Thanks for your query.
OCPs are given for a month or two in order to deal with functional cysts in the ovaries.
Normally patients do not conceive on OCPs, however a 5 day course wont hurt you in trying to conceiev.
Regarding breathlessness, it has most probably got nothing to do with a 3 cm cyst.
Please consult a physician for the same.
