Could Slipped Disc Be Related To Thyroid?

My duaghter is 17 and has had treatment for underactive thyroid for two years. In that time she has had bilateral carpal tunnel surgery and bilateral cubital tunnel surgery which we are told is related, She has now been diagnosed with a lower back slipped disc, Could this also be related to the thyroid problems?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

She has hypothyroidism. Her carpal tunnel syndrome is related but her slipped disc is not related to hypothyroidism. She should go for MRI and then consult your orthopaedic surgeon and plan treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
