Could Placing Implanon Cause Sore Breast And Abdominal Pain?
I am 26, 165cm and 10 stone. I had Implanon inserted in September 2010, and have recently had sore breasts, abdominal pain and felt tired all the time. An HCG blood test showed levels of HCG in my blood, but not high enough levels to confirm/diagnose pregnancy. Since talking to my doctor this afternoon, I have had a light pink, creamy discharge that I noticed when going to the toilet. I'm really quite concerned, and don't know what to do.

The pinkish discharge could be premenstrual or a sign of early pregnancy. Repeat beta HCG testing after 48 hours. If the level doubles, then it is indicative of pregnancy. Otherwise, a pelvic ultrasound is recommended to rule out an ectopic pregnancy.
