Could On And Off High Fever, Earache And Hives In Body Be The Side Effect Of Adenoids And Tonsils Removal?

Hi my son who is 4 had his adnoids and tonsils out 8 days ago. He continues to get fevers every late afternoon carrying theough the night and earaches. This morning he woke up covered head to toe with hives can this be a side affect or cause of high fever

Read and understood the history about your son of 4 years.
The cause of the fever can be hives.
When the body of the child get hives or any severe reaction of any sort including the hives, the histamine release causes the body temperature of the child to rise and gives fiver.
The removal of the adenoids and tonsils just 8 days back can be the other reasons as there may be a occult infection .
I would advise you the following:
Blood culture and sensitivity may give a clue of infection as well as the direction for further treatment.
Carry on the antihistamine round the clock and an anti-inflammatory along with proper hydration which is very important in a child who is 4 yours old.
