Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello. Thank you for your question. There are many causes for fever in the pediatric age range. It is possible for a child to develop after a vaccine. In the case of the MMR vaccine, a fever can develop as long as one week after the administration of the vaccine. Though we can't say for sure the your son's fever is due to the vaccine, it is a possibility.
