Continuous Throat Pain, Neck Pain With Presence Of Small Tumor On Touching, Endoscopy, Swallow And Ultrasound Normal. Cause?
hai,am jithin my mom is 45female for the past 6month she is feeling from throat pain.one day while eating she feel something paining in her thorat.immediately we meet a ENT doctor he ask to take endoscopy in the result no problem found but the pain was not recovering still now.then we took swallow test,opg and ultra sound test but no problem in the result.she is telling that her neck is paining and when touching in the neck a small tumour like object is their.but no problem in swallowing food.her fear is that will it be cancer tumor so please reply as fast as possible
endoscopy is normal , OPG,BARIUM SWALLO : Normal.
i don't think you need to worry about that.
confirmation of cancer require biopsy from cancer ulcer/swelling.
one final thing remaining is CT Scan to search for cancer of head and neck : if its remaining then i think you should get it done to relieve your anxiety.
