Continued Bleeding After Smear Test. History Of Having Water Infection. Is This Serious?
I had a smear test on 11/11/13 & bled afterwards very lightly. Then on 14/11/13 I started bleeding again quite heavily & still bleeding now. My last period finished on 3/11/13 however I had a severe water infection on 1/11/13. I am worried sick & still haven t had my smear test results? Please help me. Thku

A pap smear is a simple and non-destructive procedure. Unfortunately a smear test leading to bleeding or a heavy period after, does not indicate a good prognosis. But we should either way wait for the results and then decide, as we cannot really say much currently.
