Child Having Blood On Qtip While Cleaning Ear. Was Taking Antibiotics For Bronchitis. Reason?
My son is 4 he just finished antibiotics for bronchitis and has been itching his ear but no pain, or headaches nothing.tonight I tried to dry his ear with w q tip..it was fresh bright red blood on the q too..as a medical student I assumed otitis media but got scared because if it has gotten that bad I don't want his hearing to be affected..he shows Jo signs of current impairmnr though..then I thought maybe it was just mucous from the bronchitis coming out anyway it can ans not related..I'm taking him to the Dr first thing tomm but please help ease my mind ASAP...I'm soo worried.

first dont be so panic .
it seems less chance to be otitis media .
if there would be ear infection pain , discharge should be there . in your case no pain at all . no need to worry
and fresh blood its looks traumatic in nature .
as used ear bud i think if it is rigorously it can cause trauma .
watch carefully consult with doctor
