Child. X Ray Shows Fracture In Left Parietal Bone Due To Fall. No Bleeding Or Vomiting. Advised Self Healing For The Fracture. Anything To Be Done?

Hi, My daughter is 1 year 5 month old. She has fallen but there was no negative symptom. She has not vomited. She was not faint and there was no blood from ear or mouth. But in X Ray fracture was reported in left parietal bone. Her pediatric doctor said that this will self heal in next few days. What should we do as next step?

Hi,
Thank you for your query.
I understand your concern.
Do not panic.
Linear fractures in the skull need not be treated. They will heal by themselves.
Do not do anything.Nothing has to be done.If she develops symptoms do a CT scan brain with bone window.
Hope this answers your query.
If you have any other queries kindly direct them to me.
Wishing a speedy recovery.
Have a nice day.
