Child. Small, Circular, Dry Patches On Bottom, Loose Stools And Fever. Same Symptoms With Blood In Stools For Mother. Any Connection?

Hello, My 2 year old has a fever and I noticed while putting him to bed that he had a couple of small circular dry patches on his bottom, he also had loose stools today. I then noticed I have a similar round dry patch into hand that I hadn't paid attention too, until now and I have a belly ache, diarrhea with blood in my last 2 stools? Is there any immediate concern or connection I should be thinking about before morning?

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum.
Thanks for choosing H.C.M.Forum.
Your 2 year old child had fever, small circular patches on his bottom, and loose stools.
You too had patches on hand, belly ache, diarrhoea with blood.
It appears that both of you had same infection, it is infectious, and may belongs to salmonella group or some viral infection.
So far it is O.K. but if there is any urgency you should rush to the hospital. urgency means if the pain is unbearable, or the motions are more.
At least tomorrow i advise you to consult your doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
Best regards.
