Cause For The Pain In The Apex Of The Lung Due To A Mass?

I have a mass on the left apex of the lung, biopsy was done but the doctors say they don't know what it is but I have nerve pain which flash on the same side through the left hand that I cannot stand the pain.but please,Doctors if any one knows what it is help me but I can't stand the pain

As you didn't mention the detail report of biopsy of mass , so it is very difficult to predict any diagnosis at this stage .
However mass may be a benign tumor or cyst or malignant tumor of unexplained origin .
As far as concerned about pain in the left arm , so this pain in the arm mat be a radiating pain from the mass ( due to involvement of concerned nerve underlying the mass ) .
So in my opinion consult another pulmonologist and get his opinion at earliest.
