Can Virus Infections Cause Stomach Pain And Vomiting?

My son has low body temp, 94-95, it was taken three times, once by myself and twice by the school. He also is complaining of stomach pain saying he may throw up. I ve never heard of anything like this. The school office lady told me that a virus was going around that was causing these symptoms. Have you ever heard of this and what could it be? Thank you so much.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that he might be having stomach virus.
Give him light diet and avoid fried and junk food.
If problem persisted then go for S bilirubin and SGOT and SGPT test to rule out infective hepatitis.
Ok and take care.

HI
Well come to HCM
This is not the pure viral infection symptom but this could be non specific type of symptoms and this may not need any treatment, wait for couple of days, every thing would be fine, no need to worry about this, take care.
