Can Taking Cefixime For Typhoid Result In Severe Weakness?
I was diagnosed with typhoid on 31st oct 2013, took medicine as prescribed by doc (cefixime) for around 10 days, but neglected further as I felt better. I am feeling weak from last 2-3 days. Is it due to irregular medication? I have not yet visited the doc and have taken no vaccination.

Since you are symptomatic now ,you should monitor your body temperature .In case you have fever,pain abdomen,bodyaches or loss of appetite ,you might require blood investigations to rule out any residual infection. Meanwhite take lots of fluids,fresh fruits and multivitamins.Avoid spicy or oily food.In case of fever you can take tab. paracetamol 650mg.
