Can Taking 5 Paracetamol During Periods Affect Health In The Long Run?
hi, during this winter period i will take atleast 5 paracetamol in a week bcoz of cold, fever and body pain. It will be like one in a day. it will go like this for this winter period(say for 3 months). i consulted a doctor and he said it is okay. most of the time with out this throat pain will not reduce.will it affect my health?
Although taking one paracetamol per day is not harmful, taking it for a chronic duration like 3 months can affect your liver and kidney. Hence, you can consider taking the drug on alternate days. To reduce throat pain, you can consider steam inhalation and antiseptic mouth gargling. You can also drink warm water instead of water at room temperatures during winter.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
