Can Steroids And Betahistine Dihydrochloride Reduce The Probability Of Pregnancy?

hi, I m 24 yrs old and my husband is 30 yr. we been trying for a baby but last month he took steroid tablets for 15 days due to hearing loss, now the doctor prescribe him betahistine dihydrochloride tablets. Are those medicine reduce the probability for me to get pregnant??? thenks

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion long term treatment with steroids might decrease the sperm count but not short term therapy like your husband.Betahistine also dont have significant sideeffects relating to fertility.So dont worry.If you have regular cycles and no other problem for the partners then the chances of conception are high.Regular intercourse might increase the conception chances.Avoid stress as it might delay fertility further.
