Can chemo and radiation be helpful for prostate cancer?
My dad's Psa jumped from 580 to 1100 in a month. He has prostate cancer and it is now in his rib cage and pelvis. He is on lukrin and has already had one round of chemo. He was told by the oncologist that his only hope is a different chemo which does not cause hair loss. he was also told that without this chemo he would only live 3 months. he is exceptionally tired....Can we have hope in this last chemo and would radioation work?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your father has prostate cancer and it is spread in rib cage and pelvis. It is stage 4 cancer. Surgery will not helpful at this stage. Only treatment options are chemotherapy and radiotherapy. He can use different chemotherapy regimen. But ultimate prognosis is poor. life expectancy is not good. Consult your doctor and plan accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.

My dad is a 72 y/o he was Dx w/ Prostate cancer 2 years ago he was being treated but the cancer spread to his lungs so they started Chemo and Radiation like 3 weeks ago I guess it was too much for him that a day after radiation he had a heart attack in his sleep I took him to the hospital and immediately they started treating him, the Dr.’s found out he had Sepsis due to his catheter. They did not give me hopes for him to wake up from that, they admitted him to ICU and treated him aggressively w/ antibiotics he did not wake up for 9 days so that Dr’s told me that they were going to give him one more week for him to respond finally he woke up two days ago from today. But know his Dr. is telling me that the cancer has spread almost all over his body and there’s nothing else to do that we need to make a decision. I just want to know if there’s a way he can stay a lil bit more longer or if there’s medicine that can help him keep going. But I don’t want him to go yet. He is showing me that he don’t want to go yet.
I have prostate cancer. Had Radical surgery that removed prostate and seminal vessicals. Some cancer remains. None in bones or lymph nodes. Met someone that said EZ-Act helped cure his daughters cancer. I m looking at radiation therapy next. Is taking EZ-Act an alternative option that will slow the cancer or put it in remission? Also, what is your opinion about the new Proton Radiation therapy?
Hi, my husband has prostate cancer which has gone into the bone and now it is found in the bone marrow. He is on a chemo treatment, but what is his prognosis? I am sure his doctors want to give him hope because that helps with the treatment, but I want reality. I know unless there is a miracle from God he is terminal, but I would be able to handle this much better if I knew how long he has in the best case scenario.
Hi I'm a 34 year old guy average weight maybe 150 lbs. 5 nights ago I met a girl and was really drunk and could not get an erection she. Tried to give me oral sex but she actually was very rough and bit me and sucked on the head of my penis and made it all like a hickey. Since then I've been in pain and if I try to get an erection it feels extremely sensitive and I ejaculate while soft and then my prostate hurts. Is this going to go away?

My husband, age 76, has had dizziness, right hand tingling, occasional headaches, and feeling nausea. He has had this for about a year now. His energy level is very low after doing a small chore. He has had CT scans (head), ultra sounds of the stomach which proved he has a polyp on his gallbladder. He had his prostate (cancerous) out about 9 years ago. He had 33-34 radiation treatments for this and was put on hormone treatment for two years. His blood pressure is normally fine and blood test show bilirubin normal although he has gall stones contained within the gallbladder. His doctor believes that he has the onset of Parkinson s disease but a specialist he was sent to says no. One other doctor also does not believe he has Parkinson s disease. So - what is wrong? He is becoming baffled as to what is happening to him. Please can someone help.
