Can Pancreatitis Cause PSA To Go Up And Down?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... My husband had a pancreatitis last October of unknown origin (he does not drink), a severe one with over 3000 lipasa. He also has had for the last few years a PSA somewhat high. A biopsy in 2007 (at 5.95) was negative. Since then the PSA has gone up and down, but after the pancreatitis it went up from 4.6 to almost 6 and three months later to 7.8. The doctor wants to do another biopsy. Could the pancreatitis have had an influence???
