Hello.
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic forum.
Miconazole is used to treat infection. It can neither bring your periods nor can it stop them. While you are breast feeding you will not get periods. If your periods have started and the bleeding is heavy then hormonal tablets can control it.The closed cervix has got nothing to do in it.

I would like to postpone my period due to a vacation I have coming up. I am currently on birth control and have been for five years. I am on Junel. In order to time my period right, I would need to take a pack but extend the placebo stage to about ten days rather then seven. Is this safe? Is the birth control still effective once I start a new pack after the ten day placebo break?

I had a tubraligation and also this past December I had another procedure in which I had my cervix eblasive and a sling put in. I ve been real sick with migraines and abdominal pain went to the e.r and had tests done the blood tests came back positive for pregnancy? I went back 2days later to have my levels checked they were lower now they want to do a MRI! Could I have a tumor in my head that s what they think triggered the test to come out positive??

I am getting a uterine biopsy soon and have a very low tolerance for pain. I have never had children and my cervix is tight. I am 59 years old. I was give Cytotec to take the night before. I understand this can cause severe cramping. When I did get my period before menopause the cramps were severe - I had to take heavy doses of Advil 5 days BEFORE it started and then Darvon on the first 2 days. I thought for the biopsy I would take Mobic 5 days before and then Percocet a hour before the biopsy ( I have discussed this with my dr.) Any other suggestions? I am a wreck! Thank you!
